Your phone lines go down, what do you do?
Ideally, it's good to have something in place as part of your disaster recovery plan, but if there is an emergency, then call Leadline on 01666 511 470 (this line is manned during office hours).
Then what happens?
Leadline will give you a UK based geographic or if preferred, a non-geographic number, so that you can contact your system provider and ask them to forward any calls to the number. This number will be answered in your company name by a person or it can be answered as a recorded message to give callers instructions as to what to do.
If you want the calls answered by people then Leadline need brief instructions as to what you want them to say and how you want your messages to be sent to you. In addition to taking messages Leadline can also patch calls through to your mobile numbers so that at least your callers can speak to someone within your organisation.
How much does it cost?
There is a set up fee of £25.00 - Leadline will provide you with the dedicated line and you need to provide Leadline with instructions as to how to handle calls as part of your disaster recovery plan. It's a good idea if this is reviewed periodically.
Then there is a monthly charge of £25.00, and that's it unless the line is activated.
