Setting up an IVR 24 hour brochure request line

Please allow 5 working days to set up your brochure request line

Here are the steps: 

Step 1 - Choose a non-geographic number for your brochure request line OR if you already have a non-geographic number we can give you a dedicated line for you to divert your calls

There are no charges for Standard non-geographic numbers

Silver and gold numbers can also be sourced across the range of non-geographic numbers.  The one-off set up fee of £25.00 applies - Silver numbers can be rented for £50.00 per month and Gold numbers for £75.00 per month.

Standard non-geographic ppm rates

0800 - 4ppm 

0844 (local call rate) - no ppm charge

0845 (local call rate) - no ppm charge

0870 (national call rate) - no ppm charge

0871 (caller charged 10p per min) - no ppm charge 

Step 2 - Build the script 

Here is a typical script for brochure request lines

Each brochure request line is built around individual prompts, and this ensures greater accuracy.  Some brochure request lines will prompt the callers as follows:

"after the tone, please leave your name, address, postcode, telephone number and how you found out about us" and then the beep. 

Avoid single prompts.  Callers get confused, gabble the information and forget some of the details you need.   

Always opt for individual prompts - at Leadline you will only be offered brochure request lines with individual prompts.

Step 3 - Record the script 

Leadline can record the scripts or if you want to record your own script then you can call the recording line on 0844 669 7422.

Step 4 - Build the IVR 

You need to allow 5 working days for your brochure request line to be built.  Then when it is built you will be contacted by Leadline so that you can listen, and only when you are happy does the brochure request line go live.

Step 5 - Receive the responses 

When callers leave their details on your brochure request line, they are stored on a secure server.  The voice files are compressed and can be sent to you voicemail to email - please be aware that voice files can be hungry for server space.  In most cases Leadline download the compressed files and transcribe the details - find out about transcription costs and why Leadline's transcription service is so accurate
