Growing without the Pain
Chase Organics Joint PR October 2007
Growing without the pain
The increasing interest in gardening has boosted the order books of mail order companies dealing in everything horticultural. Growth rarely comes without some pain, yet we've found two companies whose successful partnership makes growing look easy.
Chase Organics, based in Surrey, is a well established mail order company providing customers with the very best seeds and suppliers for growing vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers in an organic garden. As the range of products has increased year on year, so has the number of customers. Combine these factors with a commitment to the highest levels of customer service and growth becomes a challenge.
In May 2002, Chase joined forces with Leadline, a Worcester based call centre well positioned to manage the sales order line and maintain the customer service standards as business levels increased. Mike Hedges from Chase Organics explains, "From the beginning Leadline understood how we wanted our customers managed, and the times we need their services most. There has been little change in both teams in more than 5 years and this has helped us to work seamlessly together through continued growth. Work-life balance often suffers in these situations, but I'm happy to report that thanks to Leadline our growth has been relatively stress free".
If growth is presenting challenges for you then perhaps outsourcing could be the answer.
