Email surveys are a great way to monitor customer satisfaction as a snapshot. If you want an in-depth customer satisfaction survey then you would be best to look at a telephone survey or online survey.
The ideal way is for instant research, for example:
- Customer reaction to a press article
- Measuring customer satisfaction to a new delivery service
- Identifying any customer satisfaction issues with a new outsource
By conducting a very short survey in this way, customers are happy that you are asking them for their opinion. Email surveys are not intrusive on their time and you will not need an incentive to receive a reasonable response.
