Call Divert Options

To set up call divert you will need to contact your telephone network provider.  If you are a BT customer, please call them free on 0800 389 2312.  The service can be set up remotely and usually within 48 hours and the facility costs £6.52 + VAT per quarter (May 09). 

Once the divert facility is in place, the cost of diverting calls will be the same as you making an outbound call to the destination number - this will depend on the tariffs set by your network provider. 

Leadline will provide you with a number which is your own dedicated line, or indeed you can divert to any telephone number of your choice.  With the call divert facility in place you can now divert your calls.  There are 3 options: 

Divert all calls


Divert when busy/engaged


Divert after 15 secs (approx 6 rings) 

Dependent on your telephone set up, these options may need to be configured if you have a telephone system, but if you have a telephone line rather than a system, then you can control and operate the divert services.  This is what you need to do: 

Divert all calls

To set up, press into your keypad *21*(your divert number)#

A voice will confirm your instructions

To cancel press #21# 

Divert when busy/engaged

To set up, press into your keypad *67*(your divert number)#

A voice will confirm your instructions

To cancel press #67# 

Divert after 15 secs (approx 6 rings)

To set up, press into your keypad *61*(your divert number)#

A voice will confirm your instructions

To cancel press #61# 

Remember that when you divert your calls that you pay for the diverted leg of the call at the same rate as you pay to make a normal outbound call.  For exact prices please contact your LCR (least cost routing) or network provider.
